Kelsey's side of the story: Working at Cowgirl Coffee with Tara, Chase's sister, Chase would come through with her all the time. I could hardly talk around him. I would get so flustered, I could hardly function (which Tara loved to give me a hard time about). So, one night, I run into Chase at a derby bout of Tara's. We chatted a little and then went our separate ways. I went and found Tara after and we went to the after party at the VFW. I wound up standing next to Chase all night long, starry eyed. I pulled him onto the dance floor with me and we had a blast. I definitely made the first move and kissed the boy! He wasn't drinking so he offered to give me a ride home. When we got there, he walked me to the door, kissed me goodnight, and asked to take me to breakfast the next morning. The next week was filled with a different date every day. I've never felt so "woo-ed" in my entire life. I haven't stopped being starry eyed about this man since that first night. Chase's side of the story: The first time I saw Kelsey was driving through Cowgirl Coffee looking for Tara. I saw Kels every time I got back up to Kalispell from Butte, driving through the coffee shop, but we didn't actually meet up outside Cowgirl until I ran into her at Tara's roller derby match. I asked her to come to the after party at the VFW and wasn't sure if she was going to show up. An hour rolls by and Tara and Kelsey come walking through the door. We ended up talking for awhile, and she eventually dragged me out to the dance floor. After a song or two I ended up kissing her. I drove her home that night and walked her to her door and kissed her again. I only had about a week left in Kalispell before my summer internship started, but since that week, distance couldn't keep us apart.
