Some love stories start with a swipe… ours started in uniform. Dean and I met while serving in the United States Navy, and what began as friendship quickly became something neither of us expected—but everything we needed. Between early mornings, long days, and the reality of military life, we found comfort, laughter, and a connection that just kept growing. Through distance, deployments, and all the in-between moments, we learned how to love each other fully—no matter the miles. We showed up, stayed solid, and built something real. Somewhere along the way, it stopped being just us getting through the days… and became us building a forever.
