It started with a digital connection and a shared love for the tangible: collaborative drawing, the grit of a hiking trail, and the energy of a good game. We spent our early days falling in love against the backdrop of San Francisco, but we quickly realized our favorite place was by a campfire in the beautiful outdoors. A Favorite Story Early on, we tested our connection on a massive road trip through the Tetons, Yellowstone, Waterton, and Glacier. Since then, we’ve covered 17 states and 12 National Parks, mostly by car, and we've found that our best conversations happen somewhere between the driver’s seat and the horizon. Of all those miles, one afternoon in Many Glacier stands still. We spent the day hunting for a glimpse of a moose, only to find one walking directly toward us on a quiet trail to Grinnell Lake. After the adrenaline faded, we reached the water and found ourselves completely alone. We waded through the ice-cold glacier water to a small island, surrounded by waterfalls and high peaks, feeling a quiet, overwhelming gratitude for the world and for each other. We hiked back under a sunset that felt like it was just for us. It was a great reminder that the best views are always better when shared. Life Today While we’re always planning the next big park to check off our list, we’ve built a beautiful life right here in San Francisco. Our weekends are a collection of our favorite things: golfing at our local courses, spending the day at our favorite beach, then stopping at our go-to Hawaiian BBQ spot, or heading to Golden Gate Park. You can usually find us there, spread out on a blanket in the sun, drawing, playing games, and just enjoying the afternoon. Whether we're dancing to music at home or staying competitive on the sports field, we’ve found that the simple moments are just as adventurous as the big ones. The Road Ahead As we look toward the future, our bucket list is as ambitious as our first road trip. We’re dreaming of our first trip to Europe, finally adding a dog or cat to the family, and reaching our goal of visiting every National Park in the country. Ultimately, we hope to find a piece of land to call our own and build a dream home using sustainable resources where we can continue to create and explore.
