Victoria and Chase first met in North Beach where she was more than casually late. Fortunately, Chase thought she was worth the wait. After five hours together, they both left the night with the feeling that they might have just been on their last first date. That’s the story of how swiping right was fate.

After a weekend in Carmel, Chase decided to extend the trip to include a stop in Big Sur. He planned a hike to Partington Cove that started on Highway 1 and wove down to the ocean. Once they made it down to the water, Chase asked Victoria to climb a rock for a better view. Looking at him skeptically, she declined, despite his insistence that she would REALLY like it up there. After soaking in the scenery, they began to head back up the hill. Chase realized his planned proposal was turning into a missed opportunity. He quickly got down on one knee behind Victoria just as she decided to turn around for one final look at the view. It was the BIGgest SURprise and such a happy and exciting moment.
