Tiara and Chase were introduced by a mutual friend, David. Tiara asked David if he had any friends she would be interested in, which was a negative to start. She mentioned wanting to debate someone in theology, and he eventually had the perfect friend in mind. On a roof top of a parking garage in Galveston, Texas, David asked Tiara about a friend he met in Oxford during their study abroad, who happened to be a theological debater. She decided to give it a shot, though she was a bit weary that anything would come of it. Little did they know this Ohioan & Texan would be changed forever. One pixelated video of Tiara being overly candor and a text later, Chase and Tiara were connected. Thus began weeks of back and forth debating over 7 page long google documents, getting to know each other over text messages and exchanging photos. After being grilled with assumptions that proved to be false, Tiara knew that she had found her husband. A few months later, they met in person in Tampa Florida alongside their wingman & future maid of honor, and the rest is history!

Tiara and Chase were engaged on July 11, 2025 on the Gateway Clipper in Pittsburgh where the three rivers meet.
