Maid of Honor
Kennedy is the little sister I never had. Growing up our families went on vacation together frequently. As we grew up our roles in each other's lives changed from family friends to being teammates and lifelong friends. Despite the different college choices and busy lives, our friendship has remained and I am so thankful to know our friendship will be one that lasts. I couldn't imagine this day without Kennedy by my side and i'm so thankful she has agreed to be my maid of honor.
Best Man
I could make the argument that Jeremiah was my first real friend. We met as next door neighbors when I was only a preschooler. Now, twenty years later, we’re still inseparable. Whether it be venting to each other about girls, busting each other’s balls or bettering each other on the cross country course, Jeremiah and I have been through it all together. We’ve still talked almost every day since Jeremiah left for the Marine Corps back in 2014. Even though we usually have thousands of miles between us I can still call him one of my two best friends. I love him like a brother and am honored to have him as a Best Man.
Matron of Honor
As a child, Maddi was easily my closest friend. Whenever we were together, there was always some kind of trick up our sleeve; from playing pranks on our parents to pulling out more teeth and begging to spend just one more night together day after day. She has always been the older sister I never had and I'm so thankful that our friendship is one that will be lifelong. I wouldn't want to spend my wedding day without this girl and I'm so thankful she has agreed to be my matron of honor.
Best Man
Along with Jeremiah, Johnny has been a constant in my life for the last two decades. We met in kindergarten. I remember we were in the same class, had the same pencil box, and even the same striped shirt. Naturally, we became buddies. I always used to hear how it's hard to keep the same friends after high school. This couldn't be more untrue for Johnny and I. In adulthood we’ve become closer than ever. We share a love for movies, craft beer, and baseball and enjoy experiencing those things together. We’ve even shared an apartment. I couldn’t imagine getting married without having Johnny by my side.
Bridesmaid
I remember meeting Kelsey on my first day of orientation at Indiana Wesleyan for OT school. From the first day, our friendship only grew. From long nights of studying to early morning runs and bike rides, Sunday mornings at church (with Joel and Chase, too), dreaming of my wedding day and sharing many joys, sorrows, and stressors that have come with this journey that OT school is- I couldn't imagine a single day of it without Kelsey. Trust me when I say Kelsey is one of the girls that I would NOT survive grad school without. Although we haven't known each other long, I'm confident this friendship will last a lifetime. I am so thankful for this dear friend and I am so excited that she has agreed to be one of my bridesmaids.
Groomsman
Now for the obligatory, “You better have your brother stand up with you” selection. Just kidding. The truth is Justin and I didn’t get along for the majority of our childhood (imagine that). However, as he has matured into adulthood these past few years so has our friendship. I’m proud of the man he has become, and even more proud to have him stand up with me on my big day.
Bridesmaid
I met Katy on move-in day my freshman year at AU. Anyone who knows me well knows how miserable those first couple of months were. I have to say that Katy is largely a part of my decision to stay at AU. She was (and still is) always intentional and encouraging. Two years after meeting we became roommates and later that year I was blessed with the opportunity to stand with her on her wedding day. Although we don't see each other nearly enough I continue to cherish all of our coffee and shopping dates and I always leave feeling refreshed by our conversation and lasting friendship. I am so excited to have Katy be a part of my wedding day.
Groomsman
I had once told Tess when we first reconnected that Trevor would likely be in my wedding regardless of who I marry. The same holds true today, I just happen to be marrying his sister. Over the years I’ve been able to call Trevor many things. A competitor, friend, roommate, loyal client, and fellow Star Wars fanatic all come to mind. With that said, I’m most looking forward to being able to call him a brother.
Bridesmaid
I met Ashley at track practice when I was a freshman at AU in 2016. We immediately hit it off and were friends from that point forward. Beyond our initial meeting, Ashley and I have run countless miles together, run a few fun races together, tried to run a half marathon together (it was canceled, TWICE), and we even have matching scars from surgeries for running-related injuries. I am so thankful for this sweet friend and her encouraging spirit in every situation. I am so excited that she has agreed to be a part of this big day.
Groomsman
For being cousins, Lane and I grew up and fought more like brothers. The kid that used to grind my gears has turned into a young man that I have a ton of respect for and even look up to at times. You can find his picture next to the words resilience, hard work, and chivalry in the dictionary. Lane is the type of guy I’d love my hypothetical future daughter to bring home. Is that weird to say?
Bridesmaid
I met Hannah when we were neighbors in our freshman dorm at AU. The memories I have from that year with Hannah next door are countless! Hannah transferred colleges after our freshman year, but one thing stayed the same— our friendship! No matter how long we are apart, it’s as if no time had passed when we are back together. I’m so thankful for Hannah’s sweet friendship, her excitement to always find a reason to celebrate, and her excitement to be a part of my wedding day. I truly couldn’t imagine this day without her standing up with me.
Groomsman
Jake is another guy I’ve known for close to twenty years. While he was more of my sister’s friend growing up, he and I have gotten a lot closer the older we get. I was his basketball manager in high school and he mostly attributes his sweet jump shot to the shoulder massages I’d give him before every game. Go ahead, ask him! Jake has been a roommate of mine, a faithful client, and a buddy I can always turn to for limitless wisecracks.
Bridesmaid
I’ve known Sharon since we were in kindergarten. Through our time at Randolph Southern we became classmates, teammates (sports and academic teams), study buddies and dear friends. When it came time for college we became roommates and even closer friends- oh and she became my personal athletic trainer. We’ve celebrated good times and been shoulders to cry on in hard times. I’m so thankful for such an unwavering friendship with this girl and I couldn’t imagine my wedding day without her standing beside me.
Groomsman
While I’ve known Cody since grade school, our friendship has really blossomed in the last couple of years. Together, we share a love for the Cincinnati Redlegs and all of the misery that comes with it. More recently, we’ve bonded over our bourbon obsessions, being the cultured gentlemen that we are. Cody is also another dependable barber client of mine. Cody is always down to grab a beer or lend a helping hand and I consider myself lucky to have friends like him.
Bridesmaid
Sierra and I met at AU and have been friends ever since. While at AU together Sierra and I both served at East Side in their children's ministries and developed a lot of relationships with families and kiddos through that. After she graduated she moved to Marion and became my roomie. Sierra and I share a love for reality TV shows, babies and our Anderson Kiddos. I'm so excited that Sierra has agreed to be one of my bridesmaids.
Usher
Mason was just a funny snack-sized toddler with a family-sized temper when we first met. Now he’s grown into the cool, laid back dude that he is now. He’s an encyclopedia of NBA knowledge and an avid card collector. Mason would also try to fish out of a rain puddle if you let him. He’s been really fun to have as a brother and we look forward to him bringing his swag to his ushering duties.
Usher
Grant became my brother when he was just a shy little guy. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of watching him grow into a bright and respectable young man. He’s a technological guru and moonlights as a walking thesaurus. I have no doubt he will take his ushering duties very seriously. We can’t wait to see him cleaned up as an usher.
Jr. Bridesmaid
Aleeyah is the girl that made me an uncle. To this point, it’s the best thing to ever happen to me. (Marrying Tess may soon overtake that.) Aleeyah is a jack of all trades. She’s a beast of a gymnast, a good student, a great big sister, and a total unicorn fanatic. I’m super proud of this girl.
Jr. Bridesmaid
Brylee “B” is pretty similar to her uncle Chasey in a lot of ways. We both have big empathetic hearts, enjoy art, and love to give our older sisters a hard time. Brylee has a very adventuring soul and there’s not much hasn’t tried. Her latest interests include mermaids, legos, and basketball.
Ring Bearer
Liam is one of the sweetest little boys i know and I am so blessed to call him family. He and his momma are a big part of my life and I have adored him since the day he was born. I have loved getting to watch him grow and become his own little person. I am so excited that he is going to be one of our ring bearers on our wedding day.
Ring Bearer
Dawson Jay is the littlest brother I never expected to have. He’s a very active boy and it’s safe to say he’s picked up a lot from all of his older siblings. He loves watching Paw Patrol, lightsaber fighting, and literally anything involving a ball. Dawson has been such a blessing to the whole family. Tess and I are so excited to include him on our big day.
Flower Girl
The daughter of my cousin, I have adored this precious girl since before she was even born. As soon as I found out that she was coming, I told Chase she HAD to be our flower girl. I am so blessed to get a front row seat to watch this little lady grow up. We are so excited to have such a precious little girl as our flower girl.

Officiant
Jeremy is the Pastor at the Winchester Campus of the Compass Church, where we will be getting married and have attended together for the duration of our relationship. While Jeremy and I just met around 2 years ago, Chase and Jeremy have a long history of Jeremy playing many roles in his life, including 5th grade teacher, coach of the basketball team Chase managed, and of course Pastor. Chase and I are so excited that Jeremy has graciously accepted our request to officiate our wedding and play a huge part in the day we finally become Husband and Wife. We are so thankful for Jeremy's honest, encouraging and challenging sermons and his continued support as we get closer to our wedding day.
