Flight

Florence (Peretola) Airport (FLR) or Rome-Fiumicino International Airport (FCO)

There are many airports in Italy, but the closest airport to Tocchi is Florence (or Peretola) Airport (FLR). It is about an hour and a half from Tocchi and the surrounding towns. We haven't found any direct flights into FLR, but there are plenty with only 1 stop and a short layover. The next closest airport is Rome-Fiumicino International Airport (FCO). Rome's airport is about 3 hours from Tocchi and the surrounding Tuscan countryside. We have found direct flights to Rome. You can get to the Tuscan countryside from the Florence airport by rental car, taxi, or transfer (hired car/van). From Rome, you have the option to take the train to any station in Siena, Italy in addition to the modes listed above. See below for additional details on transportation.

Airbnb

Airbnbs will be the most affordable option for many guests. This link will take you to a list of air bnbs we found in the area. The list has places of all sizes and types from apartments for couples to villas for groups. Please note, the wishlist we made was for the whole week so some places that say "unavailable" may actually be available to rent for a shorter period of time like Saturday through Wednesday instead of Saturday to Saturday.

Hotels.com or another booking site

Another option outside of airbnb would be to check hotels.com or a similar website which also lists options for villas/hotels in Siena. These are slightly farther away - about 30 minutes from Tocchi, however, the welcome event is in Siena and taxis are readily available.

This hotel is located in Paganico which is about a 20 minute drive from Tocchi. It offers a more upscale accommodation choice for those interested.

This 5-star hotel is located in Palazzetto which is about a 20 minute drive from Tocchi and offers the most upscale accommodation option for guests who are interested.

Rental Car

Rental Cars, Taxis, and Transfers

Rental cars and taxis will be available at all airports and major cities/towns for guests to get to their place of accommodation. Transfers can be scheduled ahead of time to take you to/from the airport, to any place you want to visit, and to/from the wedding. We suggest booking a rental car or transfer as far in advance as comfortable if you desire this to be your primary mode of transportation.
