Roughly 6 years ago, Riley was unassumingly attending a worship night with her friend Julie in Maryville, Tennessee. Little did she know, she was walking into the very room where she would meet the love of her life. She walked in and immediately noticed Chase sitting on a couch. Julie, who happened to know him, lead Riley over to introduce them. They chatted for a little bit, and when the night came to an end, they exchanged phone numbers. Over the course of the next 5 years, the two would cross paths often, go on dates and message each other (very often) on social media. However, they could never seem to get the timing right. He was always a man Riley loved, and that was a little scary to a girl still trying to figure out who she was. Then, on October 9th of 2019, after what seemed like an eternity of the two trying to make things work between them, they would cross paths for the last time as two single people! Riley was out with her two friends, Julie and Caroline (who spent many nights listening to Riley talk about Chase, the “super cute football coach”). When the night was over, they decided to invite Alex over to Julie’s house. The Lord’s plan, that was obviously so much greater than their own, would have it that Chase was hanging out with Alex that night, and he decided to tag along. With a little extra push from their friends, the two spent the rest of the night talking about what they wanted out of life and how the other had always seemed like they were the one that could be a large part of that. After that night, the two fell in love rather quickly - and now they’re getting married!! They are both thankful for The Lord’s faithfulness in a plan that is greater than one they could have imagined on their own. He took them on, what seemed like, the longest relationahip detour their ever was. He lead them to this moment, and they couldn’t be happier to get to share it with all of you!
