We're getting married!

We met while working as servers in Tucson, Arizona, at a spot called Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen, otherwise known as a "dimly-lit Chili's" (iykyk). Instead of focusing on tasks, we often found ourselves chatting at the register, sharing jokes, and swapping favorite movies. Despite being "just coworkers" for months, we realized we kind of liked each other! One night, after Nick had generously helped Chase clean her section (for FREE, as he had already clocked out), we took a leap and went on our first date. We indulged in churros at a 24-hour taco shop, laughing until our stomachs hurt. From that moment, we became inseparable, and the rest is history!

After nearly three years of being apart, we finally reunited and spent the first few weeks together going on lots of dates. One day, Nick surprised Chase with a special "date for future dates." We embarked on a food tour around downtown San Diego, trying out various restaurants for inspiration for our future date nights. Afterwards, we headed to Coronado Beach for an early dinner of charcuterie by the ocean and to capture some photos together after spending so much time apart. As we indulged in cheese and plenty of olives, Nick took Chase by surprise, dropping to one knee and popping the question. Caught completely off guard, Chase fell to her knees and excitedly exclaimed, "YES!" We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in San Diego!
