What is the dress code?

Answer

Be comfortable! Dress for the weather (sundress, short sleeves, button down, sandals, cowboy boots, etc.) Important note: the ceremony will be in the grass, so keep that in mind when choosing shoes!

Will there be a reception?

Answer

Yes! Following the ceremony, we will be having a reception with a light meal and dancing. Food will be served buffet style (sandwiches and snacks).

Will there be any adult beverages?

Answer

Yes, but... not a whole lot. If you know us, you know we love a good party, but because our venue is pretty removed, we want to keep the tatering* to a minimum. We know it will be 5 o'clock somewhere, but it won't be quite yet during our reception. Quench your thirst with lemonade and fruit punch (but absolutely leave your flasks at home!!!). *tatered (adj) To be extremely high, drunk, hammered, etc. "Dude, I was so tatered I thought the moon was a god"
