Most Asked Question: What Do I Bring As A Gift

@MCCanfield on Venmo

When thinking of a gift for us.. We ask if you'd please consider contributing to our honeymoon to make it all the sweeter. Our house is full of all the things a couple could require so a holiday away is what we most desire. Then while we're relaxing on the beach or by the pool so blue, we'll sit back and know it is truly thanks to you! You can either group contribute by Venmo to @MCCanfield or you can bring cash to the wedding and put it in our honeymoon jar on the "gift" table when you walk into the venue. We are also having a dollar dance!

Car Show In Between The Ceremony & Reception!

Vintage/New/Cool Cars or Trucks

One of the things the groom really would like is for us to have is a car show. So please bring your favorite car or truck to the wedding and show it off. Thank you!

How We Met

Best Buy Parking Lot/ Pla Mor

He says we met in the Best Buy parking lot around sophomore year in high school after a cruise on O Street, none of the people that were there that night remember him being there though. Which I feel bad about, that's my bad for not remembering the first time I said hi to him. But I was a stupid teenager back then who got way too easily distracted by nice cars and my friends at the time so.... Oops. I, however, remember meeting at Pla Mor. Our mutual best friend, Devin, and Chase were going to college together at SCC and were roommates. Devin decided one day to bring Chase along with him to Pla Mor Ballroom for Sunday Night Country Line Dancing, which Devin and I went to every Sunday. Chase however, did not dance, nor really talk to anyone but Devin. But from the moment he walked in I just knew that something would be there between us, eventually. I constantly tried to shoot my shot by talking to him and probably just bugging him until one night I gave him my Snapchat and we have been talking ever since then. We became really good friends and after a breakup with an ex-boyfriend, Chase finally asked me out and we've been together ever since.

The Proposal

10/4/20

On our anniversary we went to my favorite restaurant downtown, Vincenzo's. I was completely and utterly oblivious to the plan Devin, my cousin Sydney, and Chase had hashed out for that night. While sitting in the restaurant I got to enjoy an amazing bottle (yes, I got to get the WHOLE bottle [of course it was on sale, you know how I am]) of wine and our appetizer. Little did I know that our server was in on the surprise the whole time and while I was sitting there the staff at Vincenzo's had snuck Sydney and Devin in through the kitchen and positioned them at a table where I couldn't see them but they could see me. THE WHOLE STAFF WAS IN ON IT, that's one of my favorite parts because wow. He took my hands and took my promise ring off my hand, I was confused but I was like alright and just went along with it. All of a sudden he dropped down on one knee and at first I was like wait what is he doing and sat there like an idiot until the shock wore off. He then asked me to marry him and, of course after lots of tears, I said yes! Best. Vincenzo's. Anniversary. EVER. Literally for a month after he proposed everyone said "it's about time", even the people who go to our church, guess everyone was waiting for it!
