This is the main shopping area in downtown CHS. You can start anywhere along King St and walk a few miles exploring all the shops!
Poogan's Porch
Staple spot for brunch. Rumor has it Chase finished an entire mimosa carafe here by himself..
The Daily Cafe - King St
Great coffee shop a little north of all the action. The black sesame latte is our favorite!
Halls Chophouse
This is your place if you want a nice steak dinner!
High Cotton Charleston Restaurant
Tried and true, best espresso martini we had in Charleston.

Charleston City Market
This covered city market stretches across a few streets that features local artists selling Charleston collectibles, art, coffee, jewelers and souvenirs.
Charleston Place
Cute hotel with a nice outdoor lawn to enjoy a drink or stay inside and go to the Thoroughbred club for a more upscale experience.
Republic Garden & Lounge
This club is the main feature of a TV show on Bravo, Southern Hospitality. May or may not be the reason I am obsessed with Charleston?

Sullivans Island
Small island with a few restaurants with a main feature being Obstinate Daughter. We didn’t get to try it but it is on our list! Beach access is throughout the neighborhoods.
Saltwater Cowboys
Outdoor restaurant/bar right on the Shem’s creek. There are a few other places to go in this area if you want an outdoor bar!
Harken Cafe
This place saved us from a potentially bad hangover. 10/10 pastries and coffee
Carmella's Cafe and Dessert Bar
Café, dessert shop, wine bar all in one. We’re known to love a sweet treat and their key lime pie is top tier.
Leon's
Hands down our favorite meal for our second trip to Charleston. Chase's favorite was the cocktail shrimp and mine was the fried chicken. A must visit in Charleston!
