In 2021, Irene was swiping through Tinder, 2 days postop (after surgery) and saw Chase. He wasn't her ... usual type, but could tell he had some "flavor," so she decided to swipe right. Once they matched, Irene messaged first (shocker) and then got to talking and finally set a date to meet up. First date took place on March 9, 2021 at Yard House, initially for happy hour, but were there for 4-5 hours. She knew it was something special because he shared that he had just spent $300 on a WWE Championship belt (Irene has been a huge WWE fan since she was 8 years old, but it was a hobby that she was embarrassed of and didn't really share with anyone). At the end of the date, they were walking back to the car and Chase was shivering. Irene jokingly offered her jacket ... and Chase actually took it. The rest is history.
