What date and time is the wedding?What date and time is the wedding?

Answer

Our wedding is Saturday, November 22, 2025. The ceremony will start at 4 p.m. and the gates to the venue will close promptly at 4 p.m., to ensure no interruptions. Please plan to arrive by 3:30 pm as the venue is a bit further away. The gates will reopen after the ceremony. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Answer

The wedding will be held at The Island House, located at 2658 Swygert blvd, Charleston, SC, 29455. For more details and directions, please check our Venue page.

Is the wedding inside or outside?Is the wedding inside or outside?

Answer

The ceremony is planned to be held on the front lawn and the reception will be under a covered tent. Rain or shine, you will be covered and dry, but please pray for no rain!

What is the dress code?What is the dress code?

Answer

The attire is "Black Tie Optional". Here in the south, that often means ladies wear beautiful midi or full length dresses and gentlemen can opt for a suit or a tux. But please, make it fun! The bridal party will be in gowns and tuxedos but we want our guests comfortable and most importantly, ready to dance! The venue is on the water, which means it might be a bit breezy, so we recommend bringing a light shawl or jacket for your comfort.

Please RSVP by October 22, 2025 by scanning the QR code on the back of your invitation. We look forward to your response!

We love your little ones, however, due to space limitations, we kindly ask that only children listed on the RSVP are included. We hope you can enjoy a parents night out!

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of parking at the venue! If you choose to leave your car overnight, you’re welcome to pick it up the next day. Please be sure to retrieve it by 11 AM. However the venue is about a 20 minute drive from downtown. We suggest either carpooling or taking an Uber or Lyft for your convenience!

We recommend arriving at 3:30 pm to ensure you are seated and comfortable.

Yes, there will be a cocktail hour following the ceremony. Please join us for drinks and hors d'oeuvres while we take photos.

Yes, you can find our registry on our website under the Registry tab. We are also registered at Target.

We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos and videos during the ceremony. Our professional photographer and videographer will capture all the special moments. Thank you!
