Venue Accessibility

To help you prepare for our celebration, we wanted to share that our ceremony spot at Ponderosa State Park is a bit of a hidden gem. Located close to the lake front by the Peninsula Pavilion, it involves a short walk over uneven ground that is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. There is a downward slope to get to the ceremony spot, that is not steep, but could provide difficulty for those with mobility restrictions. We will do our absolute best to make sure clear paths are defined, with proper signage, in order to make it as easy as possible. If this presents a challenge for you, please let us know—we would love to find a way to celebrate with you, whether at the ceremony or the Scandia Inn afterward!
