As most couples these days do, we met online. Our first date was on Valentine’s day of 2023 which may have been a bold choice, but it worked out! At first, we were looking for different things, Chase wanted to settle down with someone and Bayleigh was just looking to get out there. After 3 good dates together, Bayleigh got nervous about starting a relationship after a not-so-good experience prior to meeting Chase, and Bayleigh asked to meet with him and explain where her head was at. This is what we call the infamous 3 1/2. It was after our third date—and not supposed to be a date at all—but considering Bayleigh tried to end things we don’t consider it the 4th either. Bayleigh explained a lot of what she was feeling, her worries, and her and Chase talked for almost 3 hours. It was during this “date” that Bayleigh realized that she didn’t want to end things with Chase because she hadn’t felt like this before and she needed to see where it went. He walked her to her car afterwards and told her he really hoped he’d hear from her again, but it was up to her. She texted the next night and the rest is history!
