Travel

Some recommendations for our guests.

Flight

Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO)

Costa Rica has two major international airports: Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) in the capital city of San José and Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport (LIR) in the northwest city of LIberia. Flying to/from SJO tends to be cheaper and is closer to all the wedding activitIes in Manuel Antonio. We're flying on United roundtrip from D.C. for a couple hundred bucks.

Rental Car

Avis Rent-a-Car San Carlos

San Carlos, Provincia de Alajuela 21001, Costa Rica

If renting a car: contact Antonio first. We're working with an AVIS agent who will get you the best rate and will not require you to pay any unnecessary insurances or fees. FYI: Driving in Costa Rica is just like driving in the U.S. ie. decent roads, drive on same side of the road, same road signs, etc. We recommend using Waze for navigation because it's the most accurate.

Hotel

Hotel Costa Verde

Quepos, Puntarenas Province, Costa Rica

We are not blocking rooms, but if you want to stay here we can get you a 10% discount. There are several hotels & Airbnbs in the area so feel free to stay wherever suits your needs (and bougie-ness level).

House Or Rental

Airbnb

To our friends, we recommend getting a house or villa as a group on Airbnb and splitting the cost. That'll probably be the cheapest, most fun thing to do.
