Everyone needs a Robin. She's my favorite travel buddy, health/fitness accountability partner, and, most importantly, sister in Christ. Neither one of us remembers when we actually became friends, but we met through a pageant organization we work for during the summers and quickly bonded over shared interests. Since then, we've traveled to New York City, Denver, Boston, and Maine! We love all of the same things and think all the same thoughts and I'm so thankful I get to do life with her. Anyone who is lucky enough to know her knows that she is the absolute greatest!

Broc is my brother, my best man, and most importantly my hunting partner. From chasing elk in the Rockies to standing with me as I state my nuptials, I am blessed to have him in my life.

She knows me best - the good, the bad, and the ugly. That's what living together for 4+ years will do! Caitlin and I were randomly assigned as roommates for a summer program in high school, and have been inseparable since. There are too many things I love about her to list them all, but her optimism, loyalty, silliness, and intelligence are a few of my favorites. I'm so excited to stand by her on her big day too (she gets married in May)!

To this day, I have slept in the same room as Patrick more than his wife. We were roommates all four years in college, but I have known him since eighth grade. Patrick is intentional to sharpen me as iron sharpens iron and make me a better disciple of Jesus.

Not only is Corey one of the most beautiful people I know, but she has a heart of gold. We were introduced through Caitlin sophomore year at UK and lived together the last two years of college (and I basically lived at her house for three years after college). She is the best cook, the best listener, and the best advice-giver.

Judson and I have been friends since middle school. My favorite wedding move consists of me climbing on his 6' 7" high shoulders on the dance floor. Dr. Judson's passion for life is contagious and I am very honored to call him one of my best friends.

If I could only pick one word to describe Sarah, it would be loyal. She always has my best interest in mind and is there to support me. We can tell countless stories (many of them are extremely embarrassing) about the other from high school and have truly grown up alongside one another. Now she is a fantastic wife and mother who I admire so much!

Dillon has been a constant friend through many phases in my life. I can always count on him to be a constant source of encouragement. He will never turn down a chance to talk hunting and really remind you how lucky we are to live another day chasing ducks.

Brittany was the first person to join our family (she married my younger brother Evan in 2016), and God bless her for that. She is someone I know I can always go to for sound advice (and also if I need to know what the schedule/plan is for any event). I love her so much and am thankful for the sister I gained when she and Evan got married.

Steven and I became close friends fast when I lived in Chattanooga, TN for three years. I always look forward to our "high level," intellectual, political debates over beer. Even more so, Steven is just as bold to share the Gospel and have a good time while doing it.

We stole this girl outta Iowa and brought her to Kentucky! Whitney married my older brother, Douglas, in 2017 and has felt like part of our family from the very beginning. She's laid-back, caring, and supportive. Plus, she's one of the most genuine people you will ever meet. I just love being around her!

My body is aMerrickan made. Merrick took up the role as our personal trainer in college. He has gone on to become a CrossFit legend. I have always admired Merrick's discipline. Although we do not see each other as often as the university days, we always pick up right where we left off. I am very grateful to call him a lifelong friend and brother.

In high school, we won the superlative, "Most Likely to Be Best Friends Forever." 650 miles couldn't change that! Kelsey and I became super close senior year of high school (most of our time together was spent watching the entire Gossip Girl series and baking cookies) and went to college together at UK before she moved to Iowa for her job. She lights up a room wherever she goes and makes everything 100x more fun. I'm looking forward to being brides-to-be together this year (she gets married in May)!

Half Man, Half Pig-Bear, Bryce is one of the best friends a guy can have. Bryce sat beside me in Freshmen English class at the University of Tennessee just because I was wearing a camouflage hat and he wanted to talk about hunting. I will never forget that summer I was really sick and he called me from California just to check on me. He is one of the most intentional people I have ever met.

Don't tell the others, but Lexi might be my favorite Gilbert. She's smart, driven, adventurous, and an absolute beast at Spanish. And she makes me really good coffee and cheesecake. I feel lucky that I gain her as a sister when Chase and I get married!

Reese is by far the most coordinated of the Gilbert brothers. I am always excited to watch him play ball for Nolensville High School. However, some of our best memories derive from a recent mule deer hunting trip together in the Arizona desert. It was there I realized that Reese is no longer just my little brother, but a great man that I love and respect.

She was Miss TN Pre-Teen when I was Miss KY Pre-Teen. We have known one another for 14+ years and I could have never imagined how big of a role this childhood friendship would play in my life. Not only did I live with Victoria for my first few months in Nashville, but she is how I was introduced to Chase. Victoria is beautiful, strong, straight-forward, and confident. Who knew that pageantland would lead me to one of my greatest friendships?!

Kyle has a phenomenal beard. Enough said. He has been part of the crew for as long as I can remember. Everyone who knows Kyle loves hanging out with him. He has an easy-going personality that always makes the room light up. Not to mention, he shreds on the banjo which deserves honorable mention.

Abby is my cousin and one of my favorite people in the world. She's the sweetest girl you'll ever meet and just as (if not more) beautiful on the inside than she is on the outside. We share a love of holiday traditions. Even though she younger than me, I look up to her and admire how great she is at loving the people around her.

Andrew and I went through elementary school, middle school, high school, and college together. He's been one of my best friends the whole way and is my all-time cornhole partner. Although we do not see each other much now, we are quick to pick up right were we left off...which usually gets us into trouble. Andrew is a passionate dude and loves serving our great nation in the U.S Army.
