Orvis Shooting Grounds at Pursell Farms

Home to the only ORVIS® Shooting grounds in the South. The clubhouse has shotguns available for rental and ammo for purchase.

Horseback Riding

Explore miles of Farm trails on horseback through lush meadows and winding mountain roads up to the summit of Sulphur Mountain. Our guided trail rides are designed to be pleasurable for seasoned and novice riders to enjoy. The horses have been well-trained, extremely friendly and quite gentle. So for guests wanting the full “farm” experience, a morning or afternoon on horseback is a wonderful option.

UTV Mountain Experience

Climb steep grades through the woods, race down old logging roads, splash through puddles, learn some Alabama history and take in bird’s-eye views from the top of the mountains on our new, guided John Deere® UTV rides. Our UTV Mountain Experience is the best way to explore sections of The Farm not many people have seen, until now.

The Spring House Spa at Pursell Farms

Pool and Sun Deck

Relax by the pool and catch some rays on the sun deck while taking in the expansive view of Hole No. 18. Complimentary access for all guests staying on property. No lifeguard on duty.

Yoga on The Mountain

Complimentary yoga sessions are held every Friday and Saturday from 4-5 p.m. Transportation to the top of Secret Place will leave The Inn at 3:55 p.m.

Old Tom's Pub

Scottish-American Gastropub Open 7 days a week: 11AM – ’til Old Tom’s Pub is open every day for lunch and a casual spot for dinner. Sit back in one of the pub’s plush banquette’s with a signature cocktail, play a game of pool on Jim Nabors’ (better known as the comical “Gomer Pyle”) pool table, or enjoy some savory pub fare inspired by Scottish pub favorites.
