Rooted & Chosen

Grown through every season

Chase and Amelia met through mutual friends during a season of late nights and loud music — a chapter of life that looks very different from the one they’re living now. Some time later, when life had shifted for them both, Chase reached out on a bit of a whim. They were each a little lonely, both in need of good company, and neither expecting much more than that. What began casually — simply spending time together — slowly became something steady. Chase showed up consistently, whether it meant laughing through long nights or simply being someone she could count on. There were no grand declarations at first, just presence. Somewhere along the way, friendship deepened into something undeniable. As that season faded, their conversations began to change. They talked about the future in real terms — marriage, family, building something lasting. Instead of shying away from those dreams, they leaned into them. They chose each other intentionally. Not long after, they found out they were expecting Aria — news that felt overwhelming and beautiful all at once. That season stretched them and strengthened them, teaching them how to stand even closer. Before Aria was born, during their maternity photos on a quiet dock at Anderson Park, Chase turned that chapter into a promise. The afternoon felt calm and golden, suspended in time. Moments earlier, the photographer had commented on the way they looked at one another — the tenderness and certainty between them. When Amelia turned around and saw Chase on one knee, it felt less like a surprise and more like confirmation. Everything they had already chosen suddenly felt official. Overcome, she pulled him up before he could finish and kissed him — because the answer had already been written in the way they had loved each other long before that day. On January 29, 2024, after fifty-seven hours of labor that tested their strength and patience, they welcomed Aria into the world and became a family. In hospital rooms, recovery days, sleepless nights, and the quiet in-between moments of early parenthood, their partnership deepened in a new way — steadier, softer, and more rooted than ever before. They may not have met in a perfect chapter — but together, they built something steady, intentional, and full of love. And now, they’re choosing forever.
