FAQs

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

There is a small parking lot attached to the venue that has 30 spaces. However, there is ample street parking in the residential streets surrounding the venue.

Question

What time should I arrive at the venue?

Answer

We recommend arriving at the venue around 4pm to enjoy welcome drinks and mingle with other guests. The ceremony will begin promptly soon after. FYI, the venue is located inside a park and it may take some time to navigate through the park to the ceremony space.

Question

What will the weather be like? Is the wedding outdoors?

Answer

Although it will be the middle of summer, it can get very chilly in this area of the Bay Area with evening temperatures typically in the 50s/60s! The wedding will be completely outdoors until ~8pm when the dance floor will open inside. This being said, we recommend bringing a light sweater, shawl, or jacket!

Question

Is there a dress code or theme for the wedding?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail attire. Additionally, we invite our guests to dress in vibrant colors (although this is definitely not required!). Although this wedding will be 'Western,' it is customary in traditional Indian weddings for guests and decorations to be very colorful; and so, we would like to honor Sabrina's Indian heritage in this way.

Question

How do I RSVP? Is there a deadline to RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP through the 'RSVP' tab on this website. We ask that all of our guests submit their RSVP by February 1, 2026.

Question

Are kids welcome? Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

As much as we would love to accommodate all your loved ones, we are not able to accommodate children (with the exception of our family). Plus ones are by invitation only.

Question

Do I need a rental car?

Answer

There are ample Ubers and Lyfts in the Bay Area. Renting a car would add convenience, especially if you are considering exploring the sights of Norther California, but not at all necessary to enjoy the wedding weekend.

Question

I noticed that the welcome party and wedding are in separate locations. Where should I stay? Are there any hotel blocks?

Answer

We recommend that our guests stay in the East Bay region, midway between Palo Alto (the location of the Welcome Party and Piedmont (the wedding venue). See the 'Travel' tab of this website for more specific recommendations. There are no hotel blocks, but there are many hotels and airbnbs in the area!
