Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Charys Clay and Yan Krasny
Welcome to Azores! We look forward to seeing everyone in Ponta Delgada, which is a small walkable city on the island of Sao Miguel. While we do love Ponta Delgada, we definitely recommend venturing out of town to experience the full magic of the island. We suggest renting a car during your stay which allows you access to other villages around the island- note that a small car is much easier to navigate through the tiny roads! There is NO UBER/LYFT, but there are taxis readily available in downtown Ponta Delgada and at the airport. See below for some of our favorite things to do/places to see in Azores!
Sete Cidades

Sete Cidades

Sete Cidades, Azores 9555, Portugal

We stayed in an awesome little Airbnb right on the water here. It is a small village with only 3 restaurants, but it has some of the most scenic views on the island. Great for hikes! Highly recommend.

Ponta da Ferraria

Ponta da Ferraria

Rua Ilha Sabrina, Ginetes, 9555, Portugal

Oceanfront natural hot-springs pool. The volcanos warm the water!

Ponta dos Mosteiros

Mosteiros, Azores, Portugal

Picturesque spot for sunsets. Very close to Sete Cidades.

Parque Terra Nostra

Largo Marquês da Praia e Monfort, Furnas, Açores 9675-061, Portugal

Beautiful park and botanical garden with thermal baths. The water is orange due to the high iron content in the water, so wear a bathing suit that you don't mind getting stained.. Tickets required!

Porto Formoso

Porto Formoso, Azores 9625, Portugal

Some of the most beautiful beaches and views on the island. It really is worth a drive up to the north coast!

Vila Franca do Campo

Vila Franca do Campo, Azores 9680, Portugal

Very cute village. Be sure to stop at Queijadas da Vila for the best queijadas on the island.

For all the days along the way
