I am still working on hotel blocks but I am not having much luck. They have all major hotel chains on Pensacola Beach (Hampton, Springhill, Hilton, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express) are all on main drag of beach. There are many small private hotels Paradise Inn has their rates posted at $161 Friday and $152 Saturday a lot of Slidell friends have already booked rooms there. There are also 2 bedroom condos next to Paradise that are under renovations (website shows complete 10/3) Holiday Beach Resort-Soundside $545 total for two nights. VRBO & Airbnb are better priced than the hotels currently (there are a few events beside the wedding of the century going on) and Gulf Breeze, Downtown Pensacola and Navarre are very close proximity, and the hotels are less expensive in these areas. Gulf Breeze is 5 minutes from venue it is just across the bridge and there is a new Home2 Suites, Hampton and independent hotel Gulf Coast Inn.

This is a small independent hotel with rates around $90 night with king and double beds. I stopped in and spoke with them and looked at the rooms and they are clean and updated. This hotel is right across the bridge in Gulf Breeze.
