It all began when we were just kids. What started as playful banter quickly turned into three years of innocent puppy love. Even back then, we were completely smitten with one another. Our parents thought we were a little too young to be so fond of each other, so we became experts at finding excuses to see one another. Before long, those little excuses turned into wanting to spend every possible minute together. Life eventually took us in different directions, and five years passed as we each grew and experienced the world in our own ways. But somehow, fate had other plans. It brought us back together again and this time we both realised something we were too young to fully understand before; we were always meant to find our way back to each other. From that moment on, life became an adventure we shared side by side. We travelled together, grew together, and experienced so many of life’s beautiful moments hand in hand. Then, during a trip to Japan, with the breathtaking view of Mount Fuji behind them, Ashley asked Charmaine the question she had been waiting for... and of course, she said yes. Those who know us often say we’re the same person in different bodies, and we truly couldn’t imagine life with anyone else. Our story began years ago, but in many ways it feels like it’s only just getting started.
