The easiest way to reach the celebration in Woolwich, Maine is to either drive directly or fly into Portland International Jetport (PWM). There is no public transportation to the farm, so renting a car or carpooling will be necessary. Woolwich is about an hour from Portland.
Also early October is peak "leaf-peeping" season so we recommend you make travel plans early.
