Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately we can't allow for plus 1's during the day. Please don't hesitate to ask us for plus 1's in the evening.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Formal attire: suits, cocktail dresses, etc. Please don't wear sage green as this colour is reserved for the wedding party. Please don't wear white as this colour is reserved for the bride and the flower girls.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We have reserved an area at The George & Dragon Country Pub Hotel, Wolverton Townsend, on Friday 27th of June. We'll be there from 11am into the afternoon - the pub has a large area outside for kids to play around and we'll have an area for our guests where you can order food and drinks. It's a 10-15 min drive away from the wedding venue!

For day guests - Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We are hoping to have an outdoors ceremony at the Victorian Summerhouse, where we then head to the church on site for the blessing. However, if the weather does take a turn for the worst, there is a Garden Room which will allow us to have an indoor ceremony.

Can we bring alcohol?

Answer

Please do NOT bring your own alcohol. We will be providing drinks throughout the day until the evening reception, however there is also a bar. If you bring your own, the venue stated that you will be fined or removed from the venue.

Can we throw confetti?

Answer

Please do NOT bring confetti. We will supply dried petal confetti, if any other type is used, the venue stated that you will be fined.

What are we eating?

Answer

For day guests: There will be canapés and Pimms after the ceremony. We will be starting our 3 course meal from approx. 4pm, following with wedding cake and pizza's in the evening. For evening guests: We will be serving the wedding cake & having pizza's!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Please let us know of any dietary requirements as we need to submit this to the venue, to ensure you have the best meal.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

There is free parking at the venue.
