To our dear community - We wanted to share that we will not be moving forward with our marriage and the wedding is cancelled. We ended our relationship this week. It became clear after some things came to light that wisdom is not calling us to get married soon and that dating again is not the way to fix the situation. We are both so sad. God is good and has shown us great care in all of this. We parted as friends, free of bitterness and praying blessings upon one another. We have seen the clear fingerprints of God upon our situation and He deserves all of the praise we could ever offer. This is the most painful thing we have ever experienced but seeing it through an eternal perspective and knowing that God is faithful, just, and sees all outcomes, this was the best possible way God could have worked things out for both of our faiths, characters, and overall sanctification. It was a privilege to experience the overflowing love of our community in our plans and we are incredibly blessed to know that we can count on it still. What a joy it has been to see the outpouring of love and support for them as we planned and looked forward to this wedding. In light of this news, we ask that you please lift them up in prayer during this difficult and heartbreaking time. Any gifts already sent will be returned in a timely manner and we offer our sincere apologies for any challenges this may have caused in your holiday planning.
