RSVP due date?

Answer

All RSVP's need to be confirmed online by April 24th, 2024. Please contact us with any dietary needs & needs in general at time of RSVP. All room allocations need to be requested & paid for prior to this date.

Where are the ceremony & reception taking place?

Answer

We have booked the stunning Malanda Lodge for both our ceremony & reception. The Ceremony will be taking place in the garden of Malanda Lodge in the afternoon, followed by the Reception inside the Lodge Please view the schedule tab to know places/times of all events

Accommodation around the area?

Answer

Malanda Lodge is a motel with rooms available to be rented for the evening of the wedding. These rooms are extremely limited & availability is not guaranteed The rooms are to be booked & organized directly through Charlotte & Vernon, no holds will be available and the rooms will be first come first serve basis. Malanda Lodge rooms are $150.00 AUD, and need to be paid directly to us to secure a room (Please contact to secure bank details) Alternative accommodation in Malanda are - Malanda Manor Guesthouse, Malanda Hotel Motel & Malanda Falls Caravan Park

Are children welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Can I bring a date?

We have a strict guest list to ensure our wedding not only stays within budget but also to ensure we are spending our special day with our closets friends & family only. Only those who are specifically outlined on the invitation are welcome to RSVP

Will food & drinks be served at the reception?

Answer

While the newly weds are away getting some photos post ceremony, grazing boards & canapes will be served in the reception hall. We will be hosting a sit down dinner at the reception, which includes non-alcoholic beverages, wine & beer. All beverages, cocktails & spirits will be available to purchase from the bar at your own cost during the entire event

Please let us know when you RSVP if you have any dietary restrictions & we can organize an alternative meal for you (please note this refers to vegetarians/vegans, allergies or intolerance)

Can we take photos during the wedding?

Answer

We are having an UNPLUGGED CEREMONY! An unplugged ceremony means we request all phones & personal cameras to be placed away & turned off during the ceremony. We wish for all our guests to be completely present in the moment & allow our photographer and videographer to do their jobs to the best potential. Pre & post ceremony, you are welcome to your personal devices and we ENCOURAGE you to take photos! Please wait for us to post pictures from the wedding before you do

What should i wear?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal cocktail attire! Ladies should wear cocktail dresses. and gentlemen should wear a casual suit/button down with slacks! Color code is muted colors; sage, grey, brown, mustard yellow, teal Please avoid the wedding party colors; Whites/creams, rust/burnt oranges, Forest Greens/Emeralds, Wine Reds/Burgundies

What will the weather be like this time of the year?

Answer

The wedding will be based in Winter! Be mindful that it will get chilly as we go into the evening, It is recommended to bring a jacket or cardigan to stay warm!

Answer

The front 2 rows of the ceremony will be reserved for family members & will have specified seating. Otherwise it is free for all seating! The reception will have a seating chart available to view
