We never thought a friend's need for a fake ID would be the reason we each found our soul mate. The location was Keeney Freshman Dorm, the year was 2010 and the month was October - just 1 month after school began at Brown University. Neither of us had any intention of dating at the beginning of college, but when Sean came upstairs to borrow Charlotte's roommate's fake ID, he sat down in a pink chair and we talked for hours. Fast forward to a week later, we saw each other from across the dance floor at the 'very classy' FishCo club and that's where our story began...
The original plan included a sleigh ride in snowy Stowe, VT with the beautiful backdrop of Mt. Mansfield. But then, everything that could go wrong, went wrong: 1) the horse at the Trapp Family Lodge went lame, so they cancelled, 2) the second horse carriage company closed due to freezing rain, and 3) Sean came down with a stomach bug the morning of the big day. But, the one thing that needed to go right, was absolutely perfect. Sean and Charlotte along with Meghan, Alex, Asha (and all the dogs!) hiked up Sunset Rock behind Nancy's place in Stowe and stopped to take photos. Suddenly, Sean got down on one knee and Charlotte will never forget the first thing he said: "Today was far from a perfect day, but nothing is going to be more perfect than spending the rest of my life with you."
