What are the dinner options for the reception?

Answer

Guests can choose between three delicious entrées: - Grilled Chicken Breast in a Michigan Dried Cherry Port Sauce - Horseradish-Crusted Whitefish in a Lemon Caper White Wine Sauce - Vegan Entrée All entrées will be served with chive mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables. You’ll be able to indicate your choice on your RSVP card.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, free parking is available at The Henry Ford Museum. Please enter the campus from Oakwood Boulevard. Henry Ford security staff, located at the gate with blue flags, will confirm your event destination. Once inside, follow the drive behind the museum to the Lovett Hall parking area. Guests can then enter through the front of Lovett Hall. Map can be found on the travel tab of this website. For guests who have trouble walking ~500 feet from parking lot to front door due to mobility and/or ice, a Lincoln Navigator marked with our wedding logo will be doing a sweep of the parking lot around 5:40 to shuttle to the front door.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, transportation will be provided between The Henry Hotel, Courtyard Detroit Dearborn, and The Henry Ford Museum for the wedding. Further details on shuttle times and pickup locations will be shared closer to the wedding date.

Are kids welcome?

Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate children at the wedding. We appreciate your understanding and hope you can join us for this special day.

Yes - complimentary coat check will be provided.

Should I bring my ID card?

Yes - all guests will be required to show ID cards in order to be served alcohol at our open bar.
