Where is the wedding venue?

Answer

The venue, Cavalli Estate, is ~ 45 minutes outside of Cape Town in Somerset West, and about 15 minutes from the winery areas (Franschoek, Stellenbosch). Consider staying close to the venue the night of the wedding to avoid the drive back to Cape Town. Alternatively, transportation back can be arranged.

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal. The ceremony will be held outside and the reception will be indoors. Temperatures in March range between 60-80F / 15-26C.

Can I bring a date?

Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate plus-ones beyond those named on the wedding invitation. We hope you understand.

Getting around:

We recommend either renting a car at the airport (Avis, Hertz, Budget etc.) or using Uber, which is very easily accessible and quite inexpensive. Please note: driving is on the left side of the road.

Where should we stay?

Answer

Cape Town has incredible Airbnbs and hotels, depending on your style. The most popular neighborhoods to stay in are Camps Bay, Gardens, and Sea Point. Feel free to contact us with any questions; we're also happy to help you find a place!
