The Belvedere was built in 1903 and was Baltimore's first luxury hotel, hosting high-profile guests like U.S. presidents and famous celebrities, such as John F. Kennedy and Amelia Earhart. It was once known as the "Crown Jewel of Baltimore" for it's gorgeous beaux-arts architecture, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The 13th floor was once a glamorous spot for socialites to congregate and still offers breathtaking views of Baltimore's skyline. It originally opened in 1903 and was a popular gathering spot during the Prohibition era, where the hidden speakeasy hosted both locals and visitors.
