Hyatt Place Madison/Downtown

Unfortunately we were unable to get a block of rooms at one hotel in the downtown area. However we have chosen to stay at the Hyatt Place. There are still rooms available here if you would like to stay at the same hotel, Otherwise if you check booking.com or expedia.com there are many options for hotels in the downtown area.

House Or Rental

Airbnb

Whether its a couple or a family, we would recommend checking Airbnb for a place to stay in the city. Somewhere in the city center is ideal if you are planning on staying longer to explore, however if its just for the weekend the wedding will be closer to Monona. On a budget share a larger house with other guests. Please contact Charlotte or Jonny with any questions about sharing accommodation.

Flight

We know flights can be expensive so here are some recommendations to cutting costs. Firstly flying to Chicago instead of Madison will be significantly cheaper. There are buses that run regularly from Chicago O'Hare to Madison (information in the travel notes). There are also car rental places if you wanted to drive from Chicago to Madison. Of course you can book a flight to Madison also if you so wish. Flying from London to Chicago direct is usually always the cheapest option. Flights from Manchester are also reasonable. If flying from Scotland we would recommend flying from Glasgow or Edinburgh. The link will take you to skyscanner that scans multiple sites for the best prices.
