Gordes
In our opinion, one of the most picturesque provençal towns of all! Well worth the 45 minute drive from our venue. If you go, make sure to go to the Town View Point Gordes (search that on GoogleMaps) for a scenic view of the town, then walk into town. If you get to the area early or stay late, there's a farmers' market with many local goods on Tuesday mornings.
Les dentelles de Montmirail
Experience Provence's nature with a hike around dramatic white limestone peaks. Keeps your eyes peeled for poppy fields and lavender fields!
Marché d'Avignon
On Saturday morning between La place des Carmes and La place Carnot in Avignon, you can find a local farmers' market with fresh produce, apparel and trinkets.
Avignon Bridge
Famous historical bridge that is classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and that is the subject of a catchy children's song.
Palace of the Popes
Historical palace that housed popes in the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries.

Ochre Trail, Roussillon
A bit of a drive from our venue (about an hour), but an unexpected sight in Provence - an ochre canyon! The trail is short and family-friendly, though hot!
Lourmarin
Listed as one of the most beautiful villages in France, Lourmarin is surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and almond trees.
Bonnieux
Bonnieux is one of the most impressive Lubéron villages, in size and amenities, with plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from, a really good market on Friday morning, even a bakery museum!
Ménerbes
A village build entirely in stone, Ménerbes is very pretty with beautiful old houses and narrow winding streets.
Les Baux de Provence

Les Baux is well worth visiting, for the ancient village, the extensive fortified-chateau area, the magnificent setting and views, and the museums.
