Often said to be one of the most beautiful squares in the world. Rome ain't got nothing on Brussels. All jokes aside, definitely check it out, a bit touristic but very good vibes :-)

This is where we love to go for dinner ! Also some good chocolate stores.. :-)

This is where we had many Covid walks...
Schuman roundabout
If you want to get a touch of political vibes, definitely walk around @ the European Quarter !

Dansaert
Chill vibes, good food and many terraces.
Bois de la Cambre
Also beautiful for those long romantic walks...
Quartier du Châtelain
Hipster vibes and good food all around this area.
Park van Tervuren
A bit further (doable by car, but also public transport), but this is where Louis XIV probably got his inspiration for Versailles.
Place du Jeu de Balle
Art and vintage is the name of the game in this area. This is pretty cool during weekends.
Antwerp
Antwerp, the city where Charlotte studied her second master. It is one of our most favorite cities in Europe. Definitely check it out, especially the diamond district if you are not engaged/married yet !
Bruges
Bruges in a nutshell: a mid-evil Venice. Maybe check the movie "In Bruges" to get the vibes :-)
Leuven
Not that far from Brussels (20 min by car) -- THE CITY WHERE WE MET MORE ~16 YEARS AGO. Definitely worth to check out if you are staying a bit longer, essentially a student city that is super beautiful. PS: this is where most beer per capita is being consumed, and where many beers are being produced.
Ghent
A city of history and stolen art. Worth to spend a day here (approx. 45 min drive from Brussels).
Knokke
The St. Tropez of Belgium, but with a sea that is a bit grayer. Regardless, good food and chill vibes. (approx. 1.5h drive from Brussels)
Amsterdam
The Thalys, bus or other public transport.
Paris
Around an hour with the Thalys from Brussels.
London
Around 2 hours with the Eurostar from Brussels.
