Wedding Party

Samantha O’Connor

Matron of Honor

Sam and I met in 8th grade English over 18 years ago. Our friendship has grown into a sisterhood as we have navigated living all over the country without missing a beat. I look forward to our standing 9 am phone call every morning during her commute or my trips to see her, Lou, and baby Wan-YE. It means the world to me to have Sam and her family in my life. I am forever indebted to her for bringing Alex and me together. At the reception, you will find Sam shuffling on the dance floor with her brothers.

Bailey Kirchner

Maid of Honor

Bailey and I met in a six-week training class in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA, for work six years ago. We quickly became best friends not only at work but in real life. Our brief time living in California together bonded us forever. Applied Medical separated us after training, and we had to live apart for several years. Thankfully, Bails could “take or leave” every place she lived, so she visited monthly. After I moved to Atlanta, she decided to tell our employer at the time that she was too legit, and she quit, joining me in Atlanta! I love this girl so much that I can’t help but feel bad for Jake and Alex. You’ll find Bailey drinking two drinks simultaneously at the reception.

Lauren Adkins

Bridesmaid

Lauren is Alex’s eldest sister (there are three!). I hit the jackpot with this one. Lauren is always down for a vacation or a visit. She will make you pee your pants with her corny jokes and snorting. Since the day I met her, she has treated me as her family, and I’m so grateful to be an official sister. Lauren will be the one with forks for hands on the dancefloor.

Vanessa St. Marie

Bridesmaid

V, Alex’s second oldest sister, lives in Texas with her husband and four children. Her spitfire attitude compliments my jersey ‘tude. We always have the best time together. She is the sister who will carry me up the stairs when I pass out without complaint (and has!). You will find Vanessa rocking out to “Tears for Fears” on the dance floor with Alex (you can’t miss her – her hair is my favorite color).

Kelsey Romo

Bridesmaid

Kelsey, Alex’s youngest sister, lives in Wellington, FL, with her husband Alvaro and son Asher. Kelsey shares Alex’s dry sense of humor, and I love her so much for that. She has included me in everything, even her Bachelorette party in Nashville when I was a newcomer to the family. Again, I hit the jackpot with all three of these incredible sisters. You can find Kelsey at the reception cracking jokes that my dress makes me look like Martha May-WHOvier.

Amelia Christopher

Bridesmaid

Amelia and I met through our significant others after I moved to Atlanta four years ago and was desperate for girlfriends. After she kindly introduced me to Shamrock Shakes (available at McDonald’s for a limited time only), I forced her to celebrate her birthday with me that year. After that dinner, we realized how similar we were. Even though she was born and raised in Atlanta, her mom grew up in Cranford, NJ, as did my dad! Also, she is a middle child (we must stick together). I do not know what I would do without her and her introduction to her Atlanta girl gang. Amelia is a true “ride or die.” You will likely hear Amelia at the wedding before seeing her; her excitement is contagious! AMELIAAAAA

Logan Germann

Bridesmaid

I met Logan through her best friend, Haley Hardin when I lived in Orlando and Logan was living in West Virginia. We worked for Applied Medical at the time, and Logan and I both wanted to move to Atlanta with the company – luckily, there were two positions! After a year in our new territories, we were on the same team, and I was overwhelmed with Logan’s thoughtfulness/mentorship. Logan will never miss a beat to help you and often overextends herself. For example, Logan will show up with her famous cookies for you for a 7 am surgery that she made at 1 am the night before. Her heart is made of gold. You will find Logan sippin’ on a Diet Dr. Pepper at the reception, talking someone’s ear off about Formula 1.

Hannah Bossie

Bridesmaid

Hannah was a part of a training class for Intuitive Surgical and moved to Orlando the same week I moved there for my training class from Applied Medical. We met through coworkers and instantly saw how similar we were – it was almost creepy. The day I adopted Hank, she was there, encouraging the situation – much appreciation to you and Katie Hynes for talking me into it! Fast forward a few years, when I moved to Atlanta, she also moved back to Atlanta. Now, Hannah lives in the building next to me, and we take walks every day to break up our day with Hank and Hallie. Hannah will be the one chatting about Robotics and sippin’ on red vino at the reception.

Jackie Callahan

Bridesmaid

Jackie and I met almost fifteen years ago in the halls of Chatham High when she moved from Nebraska. We became inseparable in high school. Her sister would drive us to Starbucks or Dunkin before school (thank you, Jackie, for my caffeine addiction). Then, we would end the day by grabbing food after school and watching reality tv in her basement. After high school, we stayed just as close-she is family to me! You will find Jackie at the reception, hair flipping on the dance floor (or twerking at the afterparty).

Katie Hynes

Bridesmaid

Katie and I were freshman-year roommates at Loyola in Baltimore. Katie messaged me on Facebook asking if I wanted to room, so we met for lunch at Green Village Deli (GVD ifykyk), and we decided to be roomies. Even though I transferred from Loyola after that year (was it because of the “cough”? - kidding, Katie!), we became even closer. Now, our Moms have become friends and live in Morristown one block from one another. She is a kindhearted, true best friend I will have for life-thank goodness for Facebook! Katie will be the one at the reception reciting the lyrics to “Redbone” or “Call Me Maybe” on the dance floor.

Alison Barnett

Bridesmaid

Amelia introduced me to Alison 2 years ago. She was so fun and bubbly I was drawn to her immediately (even though my RBF scared her the first time we met-sorry, girl!) Alison asked to tag along on a Florida trip we had planned last April, and I am SO grateful she did. Not only did we show up in the same swimsuit, but we were also the only ones to make it out that Saturday night after a long day on the water. Our night out solidified our friendship, and I will always hold that margarita night close in my heart. You will find Alison running around, squawking, telling jokes all night.

Maddie Barnett

Bridesmaid

Maddie and I also met through Amelia a few years ago (thank you Meelz!) Her heart is made of gold; it shows in her work as a NICU nurse and in her personal relationships. Maddie is the under-the-radar vegetarian friend everyone wishes to have. Her relaxed, go-with-the-flow attitude is unmatched. My favorite part about Maddie is if you are looking for someone to go to a late-night party with, she will already have a ticket and will know the DJ. Also, I just love her TATU. You can find Maddie showing everyone up on the dancefloor with a choreographed routine.
