We’re getting married!

Sean and I both worked for Tommy Bahama. I was the visual merchandiser at Topanga and Sean was the store manager at Pasadena. Before I started working for Tommy Bahama Sean had worked at Topanga so he knew many of my co-workers. One night I was invited out to celebrate a co-workers birthday by groomsman Mario Jackson. Sean saw me in my little coral dress and the rest is history.

After that first meeting Sean and Charlotte became great friends. Lots of movie dates and champagne brunches. Sean began his movie education with Charlotte and Charlotte baked all the cupcakes for Sean. Within 3 months of dating Charlotte took Sean on his first trip to New York. And by their 8th month they jetted off to Italy together. In this first year they bonded over their love of traveling, wine, and Disneyland. They moved into a cute little apartment and adopted a black cat, Marshall, to be friends with Sean's dog Sophie. Throughout the next four years Sean and Charlotte became two peas in a pod!

I had a great plan. I thought it through carefully and knew exactly when and where it was going to happen. We were in Ireland and half way through the trip we would be at the famous Cliffs of Moher, considered to be one of the most beautiful places on earth. That all fell right apart when we got there and the winds were going at 30 mph and it was so cold we had to bundle in three layers. I was in a panic the rest of the day as I tried to find a recovery. Then Charlotte laid one right in my lap without realizing it. Charlotte decided she wanted to detour the next day for a special spa, and to make it a full day she wanted to stop at Kylemore Abby in Connemara, Co. Galway. A beautiful castle on a pristine lake with the most romantic story behind its creation. So I hustled together a plan and asked Charlotte to marry me (to her complete surprise) on the edge of that lake, in front of that castle, in the most beautiful country you'll ever see. Luckily, she was so awestruck by the surroundings that she stumbled out a "yes" before she could think it through. Now she's stuck with me.
