Unknowingly, Mike & Julia planned on going to the same party that night. The two had briefly met before but shared mutual friends, so it wasn't weird when Julia's best friend Sarah said that Mike invited them over before the party. Mike knew what he was doing when Julia walked in the door. Like him, she loved Brazil & had a craving to see the world. To her surprise, Julia walked in and Mike was making her favorite cocktail, a Brazilian Caipirinha. She was mesmerized by the pictures on the wall that Mikes took of his travels and asked stories about each one. That night, they both saw something special in each other. It was the best unexpected New Years they've ever had ♡

Quickly, Charlie also fell in love with Mike. He'd surprise the two with daily visits, bringing juices for Julia and treats for Charlie. One day when Mike was leaving, Charlie started to cry at the door. That moment Julia knew there was something special in Mike. That summer Mike moved in with Julia and Charlie found herself a dad. Since then they've traveled to 5 countries together, bought their dream home and have created the most magical of memories together.
