We’re making it “official”!

I bet you wouldn’t believe that we met on Tinder. Or that a year later we would both go some place they say makes or breaks a relationship. And attend Burning Man for the first time, together, only to come out of it stronger than before. Our love is the kind others are in awe of and we are truly humbled by that and appreciative of what we have cultivated. For it is rare, we wish it for all people. We hope everyone finds, or has, a love like ours.

One evening, on Christmas Eve to be exact, a woman in love received the best gift she had ever been given. In years past, her birthday had been overshadowed by the holiday. This year, her lover would propose, in a most grand gesture. He would write her a poem. Something he knew she cherished. He knew everything she loved and showered her with love and affection and acts of service and gifts. This year his gift would forever change the fabric of their relationship and lives. She read his poem… And with tears of joy in her eyes and a smile beaming ear to ear, the birthday girl looked up from her card and said, “Duh! Of course I will marry you!”
