When do I need to RSVP?

Answer

We’d love for you to let us know if you’ll be joining us for both the welcome party and our wedding ASAP, but the latest date we ask for your response is 9/13. Thank you!

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Unless a guest has been specifically invited on your wedding invite (also noted when you RSVP here), we are unfortunately unable to accommodate any additional guests, but we can't wait to see you!

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we love your littles, we are only inviting the children in our immediate families. We hope our wedding gives you a good excuse for a date night!

What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding dress code is cocktail-attire, and we'd love to see you don that special outfit you've been waiting for an excuse to wear--dresses, jumpsuits, jackets and/or ties are all perfect! Make it memorable. Make it fun! (Our wedding and reception are both indoors.)

Where are the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Both our wedding ceremony and reception are being held indoors at The Luminare in Minneapolis, MN, between NE Minneapolis and The University of Minnesota campus. We'll have a complementary shuttle to bring guests from the Courtyard Marriott Downtown Minneapolis (where we have a wedding block!) to The Luminare and back again afterwards. It's a 5-10 min. drive from the hotel to the venue, depending on traffic but not walkable from the hotels.

Will there be a wedding shuttle to and from the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We're offering a complementary shuttle to and from the Courtyard Marriott Downtown Minneapolis hotel (where we have a wedding block!) and our venue, The Luminare, in Minneapolis. It will depart the Courtyard Marriott at 4:45 PM to head to the wedding. It will depart our wedding venue just after 11 PM and return to the Courtyard Marriott.

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have room blocks at: -The Courtyard Marriott Downtown Minneapolis for $159/night (+ tax and parking)--this is where our shuttle will be picking up and dropping off -Canopy by Hilton- Mill District for $274+/night (+ tax and parking)—our shuttle will NOT be stopping here, but it’s a quick 5-10 min. Uber from our venue (The Luminare) -You are also welcome to use AirBnB or VRBO to find a fun rental for the weekend. Recommended nearby Minneapolis neighborhoods: Mill City District, Saint Anthony Main, North Loop Please see the Travel + Accommodations tab for more details.

Is there parking at the wedding venue?

Answer

The Luminare has limited parking available in an adjacent lot, and there is also some street parking. However, because there is not guaranteed parking for all cars, and we prioritize your post-drinking safety, we strongly encourage you to utilize our comfy complementary shuttle (NOT a party bus!) which will leave from, and return to, the Courtyard Marriott Downtown Minneapolis hotel (where we have a room block!).

What time should I arrive?

We invite you to join us at 5 PM for welcome drinks (including n/a beverages!). After the ceremony we’ll have a Social Hour at 6 PM with apps and drinks, dinner to follow at 7 PM, and our dance from 8-11 PM.

Do you have a registry?

Answer

Yes, we do, and thank you for asking! You can find it under the "Registry" tab above. We're also in the market for exotic animals. Our retirement plan is shaping up to be an in-home petting zoo—probably primates, because that’s never gone badly…

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Of course! We understand that some of you (ahem) may reconsider your attendance without this crucial detail. :) But seriously, we're thrilled to offer you a full array of fun alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages all night! But because we love you we just ask you to utilize Uber/Lyft or our complementary shuttle back to the Courtyard Marriott hotel after the party ends.
