Drive an hour up to the top of Mt Blue Sky and say you conquered a '14er meaning you summited a 14,000ft peak... even if you drove. Passes are required so check out recreation.gov to ensure you have the right pass and timed entry to drive to the top.
A short drive down the canyon is the famous Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre. Before 2PM it is open to the public pre concert. Hike around and check out the visitor center to see all the famous shows through the years.
Great spot with food, beers, and a sundeck. Owned by the Boone Mountain Sports right below the brewery. If you are on the fence about buying a new snowboard or skis they usually will give you a free beer to help you make the right decision!
