A big thing for us is the outdoors. We absolutely love camping, and we had recently decided to add crystal hunting to the list. The day he proposed was the day we had decided to try out Quartzite for the day. Charlotte and Charlie spent the day exploring and climbing, I looked for crystals. We had about enough around noon and had decided that we were on our last climb. Charlotte had started exploring again so Charlie and her went up the mountain, and called out for me to join them. I made my way up and once I reached them I saw Charlotte standing next to Charlie, who was down on one knee. Charlie began asking me to be his wife, and before he could finish I said yes! (In my defense I couldn't hear him talking over the surprise and I thought he was done.) Charlie had figured the best way to ask me to be his, was to make it surprise. The best way to keep it as one was to make sure I didn't expect it. He was right.

Our story is unconventional and unexpected. However, it's a story of choosing love. Over the last four years we have continued to grow in our love for each other, and since we started dating, we have chosen each other each day. We met at work and due to the nature of our jobs, developed a friendship rather quickly. Over work get togethers we began to get to know each other more. Charlie asked me to go to a comedy club with him for our first date and now here we are.
