Megan and Charlie met through mutual friends at the end of 2019. Special shout out to John and Cara for introducing them! Charlie would later admit that he had overheard Meg request Flamin' Hot Funyuns from the nearby gas station. This detail, paired with the fact that she was consistently hitting a vape, was everything that he needed to know. The rest was history! (Sorry Grandma, I promise we don't vape anymore). One night outside of a bar, where there was definitely zero smoking involved, they further connected over the fact that they both had attended 3-4 different colleges. Turns out they had a lot in common! They had similar backgrounds, similar senses of humor, and a similar friend group. But alas, the Flamin' Hot Funyuns remained a key detail that kept bringing them back together: a beacon of hope, guidance, and true love for all. Their first date was at the Lagoon Cinema in Uptown to see a Sunday night showing of Little Women. They were the only ones in the theater. Meg had sweaty hands and crab ragoons in her purse. She really liked Charlie, but didn't want to get her hopes up. He texted her immediately after their date to make sure she made it home ok. The two haven't gone a day without talking since. P.S.
