When is the RSVP deadline?

We kindly ask you to RSVP by the date on your invitation. If you need more time, please let us know!
Question
What time should I arrive to the ceremony?
Answer
Guests should arrive at the venue at 5:30pm for cocktails and light bites. The ceremony will start promptly at 6:00pm, with dinner and dancing to follow.

What is the dress code?

Cocktail / Glam in fall colors! If you're unsure, everyone looks good in black.

What will the weather be like?
Answer
A lovely high of 68 and low of 54. The venue will have a rooftop, and a place to keep your jacket!

How do I get to the venue?
Answer
We will have a shuttle leaving from the Line Hotel, and from the Washington Hilton. There will also be shuttles returning at the end of the night. If you are driving, Gravitas is located on 1401 Okie St. NE.

Will there be parking?
Answer
Yes, there is a large paid parking garage located across the street. Park in the garage, not on the street.

Can I bring my kids?
Answer
The venues are small and intimate, and we are only able to accommodate our loved ones who are 21+.

What type of food will be served?
Answer
We'll have small bites during the cocktail hour and reception, and a three course dinner with a few options (let us know any restrictions in your RSVP)

Will there be an open bar?
Answer
You bet! We'll have beer, wine, and signature cocktails & mocktails available

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?
Answer
We'll have special moments for you to take pictures, but during the ceremony we ask that all cell phones and cameras are turned off so that you may fully enjoy the ceremony.

When does the reception end? Will there be an after-party?
Answer
We will have shuttles back to the hotels at 11:00pm. There is not an official after party, but the Line Hotel has nice drinks. There are also some great bars around the hotels. While we love our venue, we do not recommend the bars nearby.

Our venue is small, and we chose it for an intimate experience. We promise you will know other guests, and that you'll make some awesome new friends!
