We first crossed paths in 2021, introduced by our common friend, Janecel, who played the role of cupid. We chatted, spent time together, but our story didn’t progress. For a while, we were simply two people who knew each other’s names — nothing more, nothing less. Perhaps destiny was teasing us, waiting for the right moment. One ordinary day, fate intervened. We found ourselves on the same bus to Bacolod City. I saw him first but pretended not to. I stepped off the bus, unaware that he had noticed me too. That day became our second beginning. Conversations sparked again, though not consistently. With a new job and the weight of adjusting to life, I worried that entertaining a new relationship would be unfair — that I couldn’t give him the time and attention he deserved. And so, once more, distance grew between us. But I have always believed: what is meant for you will always find you. And so it did. We found each other again. The waiting, the risking, the gambling for the right person at the right time — it all ended in victory. On October 30, 2023, just a day after his birthday, we made it official. On December 8, 2024, we sealed our promise with an engagement. And now, on December 30, 2025, we will stand together as husband and wife. Truly, what God has planned will always unfold — not early, not late, but at the perfect time.
Our story didn’t begin with anything dramatic. It started simply in 2021, when our friend Janecel introduced us. We talked, spent time together, and shared moments that hinted at something meaningful — but timing wasn’t on our side. Life moved, responsibilities grew, and we naturally drifted apart. Still, she remained a familiar name and a quiet memory that never fully faded. But life has a way of circling back to the people meant for you. After some time, our paths crossed again, this time with more clarity, more maturity, and more understanding of what we truly wanted. Our conversations returned, not rushed, not forced — just steady, natural, and sincere. Even with the challenges she faced in her new job, and the adjustments she had to make, something in me knew that this connection was worth waiting for. And eventually, the timing aligned. On October 30, 2023, just a day after my birthday, we officially began our journey together. On December 8, 2024, I asked her to be my forever, and she said yes — a moment that felt like everything finally falling into place. And on December 30, 2025, we will stand side by side as husband and wife. Looking back, I realized that the pauses and the distance weren’t setbacks — they were preparation. Love didn’t leave; it simply waited for the perfect moment to return. I am grateful every day that God led us back to each other. And now, I get to spend the rest of my life with the woman who feels like home.
