Did you ever think you could find a perfect match on Bumble? Well thankfully we did! Both of us kept swiping right and by coincidence we matched. Kristin took awhile to have the courage to message Charlie but she finally did! We started messaging each other and Charlie was extremely hesitant to tell Kristin about his job (as most girls aren't very understanding with the high stress job.) On the first date, Charlie finally told Kristin what he did for living and was lucky enough that Kristin already liked him. She tells Charlie all the time that if she knew he was a cop, she would have never gone on a date with him :)

Kristin has told Charlie since moving in and not having a ring only one thing multiple times... "in order for you to get rid of me, you would have to buy me a U-Haul truck to pack up my stuff." Well Charlie got this great idea to rent a U-Haul truck for approximately 4hrs. He brought it back to the house and had Layla in the back with a sign and flowers. The sign read, "Will you marry my daddy?" He came inside and told Kristin that he had a surprise for her. He took a tie and blindfolded Kristin and started walking her outside. He had the U-Haul truck in the driveway and said, "Here is the U-Haul truck that you wanted." Kristin elbowed Charlie in the ribs in disbelief. Charlie then proceeded to open the back of the U-Haul and there was Layla with the sign. Charlie got down on one knee and asked if Kristin would marry him. Kristin said, YES!
