Hannah: "A good number of you have asked us how we met, and it seemed like a missed opportunity to not say that we met volunteering at a soup kitchen, or when both of us were first responders to a car wreck, or--my personal favorite--when I clumsily dropped a bunch of Christmas presents on my way out of the crowded department store, and Charlie caught them all before they hit the ground saying: "Whoa there, darlin'! Seems like you have those pretty little hands full." Alas! Those were all fibs, and the ole' C + H train linked up through a little 21st century dating app on the iPhone machines called Hinge, "the app that is meant to be deleted." I don't think either of us engaged in the app thinking that we would eventually find the person who would make our world go 'round--the person we would never want to live without. However, when I came across Charlie's Hinge profile, I saw a photo of him with his long blonde hair slicked back, in a navy blue suit, on a dance floor with a drink in hand, and he had the biggest, most infectious smile on his face. I audibly gasped and thought to myself: "He's PERFECT!" Charlie, the slicked-back hair and a navy blue suit looks good on you, babe." Charlie: "We matched. We conversed. We laughed. After a few very short days, I asked Hannah to go on a date with me, and we decided to take that fateful first step towards forever. First step: Sushi date. The butterflies in our stomachs were out in full force on that first date but were quickly replaced with giggles and raw fish--mmmmmm, delicious. The only thing spicier than the spicy tuna roll was our witty banter and flirtatious discourse. I knew I was playing my cards right by holding my unmatched sense of humor close to my chest. Hannah had the audacity to think she was the funniest at the table. Little did she know, I had a full stand-up comedy routine ready for date three---leave 'em with a hint of mystery, am I right, gentlemen? In all honesty, every time we met after that date, we would start laughing and we would end laughing. That has held true throughout our entire relationship." Hannah & Charlie: "WHOA! We're typing at the same time?! PROPOSTEROUS! Anyway, that's how we met, and here we find ourselves. Hope you enjoyed our story, and we look forward to celebrating with you all!"
