I met Mari when I was working Korea. After a 16 hour flight (or so) I was tired and exhausted only to meet Mari, who had a MUCH LONGER flight and was just a sweet bubbly angel. We were instantly told we would be sharing a bed for several days in a foreign world. One of the first things she said to me was, "let's agree to be at each other's weddings!" Well now she is going to be the Maid of Honor at mine. Mari is one of the best travel/drinking/let's just be goofy buddies of all time. I'm super lucky to be friends with her.

This Australian sweetheart came into my life in 2020 and I couldn't be happier. Lucy helped Charlie create the most romantic engagement and throughout the year of knowing her has shared more and more about herself. Becoming friends with Lucy is like finding buried treasure. It's always good to talk with her, and being friends with her feels so effortless, in a way where I can be as silly as I want and still be accepted. Lucy is kind, determined, selfless, and a lot of fun. Choosing her to be a bridesmaid was kind of a done deal.

Nomi Nilson

Nomi is the epitome of a warrior woman. Mother of two in the span of 20 months and Crossfit athlete, Nomi doesn't let any of that success go to her head. She is one of the most genuine people I know (well, a lot of my bridesmaids are, but she's still amazing). She has an internal light that people are so naturally drawn to, and is always a pleasure to be around. I could hang out with Nomi forever just talking. She was initially my coach, but she gave me a great deal of a friendship for free! I am quite honored to have her as a bridesmaid.

Jackee Woodman

Jackee and I have been friends for 25 years and have grown up together in Los Angeles. We're probably the biggest goofballs together with the best stories of us growing up. Ask the us when we almost got kidnapped, or ask Jackee about how Ellie fainted at her wedding. Or don't, it is my wedding, and I'm still embarrassed about that. Through thick or thin Jackee and I will always be there for each other, so it was a no brainer to have her as a bridesmaid.

Even though 2020 was a stressful year I felt like it was a year I was gifted wonderful friends. Beth is one of them. Beth is a constantly growing, constantly evolving, gracious lady that always strives to be the best version of herself. She is caring, considerate, and compassionate. She is someone that always gives her full heart to those that need it. She is a wonderful listener, and a big advocate of my growth and well being. I would be honored to have her standing by my side.

Zack Forray

Best Man

Zack Forray is Charlie's big brother and he's the one man on this entire planet that Charlie has looked up to his entire life. Zack has taken care of Charlie on all the most important days of his life and Charlie couldn't think of anyone better to be his Best Man than his big bro.

Jon Rodgers

Groomsman

Jon Rodgers and Charlie Forray became friends at a jewish teen youth group meetup where Charlie popped an exercise ball and fell to the ground through it. Jon burst into laughter, as did Charlie and the two bonded their friendship; birthed in laughter and humility. Jon has since been a wholly reliable light in Charlie's life and the two have been nearly inseparable for two decades now.

Alex Boyle

Alex Boyle has for over a decade now been someone Charlie can always talk to. The genuine goodness in Alex's soul has been an open door for Charlie since the two first lived together in Los Angeles. Charlie was beyond grateful to be a part of Alex's wedding and cannot wait to have Alex by his side for his.

Chris Wisdom

Chris Wisdom has been Charlie's personal trainer for Crossfit for over 150 sessions! This means that over the last 2 years, Charlie and Wiz have spent on average every fourth day together. Over the two years, Wiz has helped Charlie grow as an athlete and a person. His unstoppable happy demeanor and real deal work ethic make Chris Wisdom a true unicorn of a person. He helped Charlie plan his surprise engagement for Ellie and on Charlie's wedding day he will be there helping his friend bring himself to a new level in life once again.

Matt Guild

Matt is Charlie's oldest friend. When they were two years old, Charlie punched Matt and their mothers made them write apology notes to each other. Thirty years later, they are still friends and Matt Guild has proven time and time again that he is the best. Charlie has cried on Matt's shoulder, laughed to tears with him and is beyond grateful that Matt will be by his side on Charlie's wedding day.

Jordan Buhat

Jordan Buhat and his wife Lucy Buhat have been two of Charlie and Ellie's closest friends ever since Ellie accidentally punched Jordan in the face at Crossfit Horsepower. Jordan has consistently shown his greatness of character and depth of friendship. Jordan is a true lifelong friend Charlie was lucky to meet at age 30. He is a treasure and Charlie believes that he and Matt Guild will find a deep bond over the fact that they have each been punched into friendship by Charlie and Ellie.

Lauren Gonzales

Overall badass. Lauren helped with the surprise engagement so it was a done deal that she had to be in the wedding party. Lauren is a professional dancer and wonderful person
