It all started with a business trip in St. Louis in August 2019. Camryn spotted a cute boy across the room, and Charlie spotted a cute girl shrieking at a bee. Camryn quickly told her new coworkers that this was the man she was going to marry. Charlie checked in on the bee. RIP. Knowing nothing about this guy, Camryn built up the liquid courage to go say hi! Charlie (perspiring) was happy she did. They hit it off instantly. Sadly, Camryn lived in Seattle and Charlie in St. Louis. Determined to not let the distance separate them, Camryn decided to connect with him on Linkedin, which Charlie responded to by scheduling an impromptu 1:1 work meeting. Thanks to their persistence, nightly phone calls turned into first visits and a loving, long-distance relationship. One visit was to Chicago during the city’s quietest weekend: St. Patrick’s Day. It was then that Charlie told Camryn he loved her, and Camryn told Charlie she loved him. From then on, the two knew they could go the distance, which they did… for one and a half years. Having accrued enough miles to receive airline status, the two decided to shorten the distance between them. Camryn, in true form, made the first leap, moving to St. Louis in 2021. Two years later, Charlie made his way to the West Coast. The couple now resides in Seattle, Washington with their cute cat, Lucy. Camryn and Charlie are so excited to celebrate their love story with all of their favorite people!
