Some people say timing is everything, and our story proves it. Although we attended the University of Maine in Orono at the same time, we somehow managed to miss each other completely. It wasn’t until a few months after Anna graduated that fate finally stepped in. On July 20, 2019, we met on a boat in Casco Bay. What started as a chance meeting quickly turned into something much more. From the very beginning, we were nearly inseparable, spending as much time together as possible and building a life side by side. Over the years, we’ve grown through every chapter together. We started in a small apartment, dreaming about what the future might hold. Those dreams became reality when we bought our first home, creating a place filled with home improvement projects, sushi dinners, and plenty of memories. Today, our family has grown to include two spoiled cats, Ozzy and Stevie, and our dog, Penny, who keeps life entertaining and our hearts full. Looking back, it’s hard to believe we almost never met. But we’re grateful that after just missing each other in college, the right boat, the right day, and the right timing brought us together. What began on a summer day in Casco Bay has become the greatest adventure of our lives, and we can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter with all of you!
